There was soo much lighting at Atlanta Market. I love finding items that are a little bit unexpected and twists on classic pieces. There were so many fun traditional pieces this market.
I am so thrilled to be carrying Dana Gibson's lighting collection now. I LOVE the bamboo lanterns. I think they look great in an entrance way, kitchen or even a den.
One trend I saw is companies expanding color options for popular fixtures. The lantern above currently comes in a light blue color and white and navy beginning in April. The white version I think lends itself to being in a kitchen over an island.
The Lizzy Lantern above is a perfect example of a twist on a classic. It's a lantern, has scalloped design but the way it fans out is unexpected. I think this could look really cool in a hallway or in a mud room. It will also be available in April.
Many of your might remember the Eloise Pendant. The company has stoped making that fixture but they have come out with this new fixture the Berkeley. It comes in White, Pink and Navy. It is definitely more whimsical but I think could be an excellent fixture for a little girls room.
The Worlds Away sconces above optimize the updated classic. Brushed brass and lucite body give so much versatility for bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Living Rooms ... really there are endless options.
Another updated classic! Love this sconce from Wildwood.
These pagoda lanterns are coming soon to the website... I'm so excited for them to get here. In full transparency - I don't know the colors I will have at this point but if you click on the picture I will update you first!
Finally these lanterns are also coming to Dashing Trappings. I'm so excited because I think it is so versatile for your home. It can go in the entrance way, hallways, bedrooms - this like the pagoda I don't know what colors I'm getting yet - click on the picture to find out when they will be available first!
Finding unique lighting can be hard to find - it's one of the reasons I always go to market. I want to see what is new and design driven. Tell me which of these fixtures is your favorite? Is there something you are looking for and can't find?
xoxo - Christine
